Family tradition since 1957
Our partner belt manufacturer is a family business that has been passionately passing down its craft for generations. Every belt is made with attention to detail.
100% full-grain leather
We exclusively use certified leather from Tuscany. This region is particularly famous for the tanning of vegetable-tanned leather.

What is the main difference and why do we exclusively use vegetable-tanned leather?

Its distinctive feel, comfortable texture, and unique patina that develops with use make it one of the most sought-after leathers in the world.
We live in a world of fast fashion.
One of the consequences: Over 90% of leather goods on the market are chemically tanned using chromium.
In so-called chrome tanning, the raw hide is exposed to chemical substances to make the leather more quickly usable. It's a fast, inexpensive, and industrial process.
The leather loses its typical, warm, natural scent and its authentic feel. It feels smoother, more artificial, and less "alive".
Until a Better Belt is created
It undergoes at least 11 precise manual work steps – each of which is crucial for the quality.
